Proudly Serving Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
We are thrilled to serve the beautiful community of Pleasant Prairie and several other towns across southeast Wisconsin. Although we are based in Illinois, we are proud to deliver expert concrete raising services to this area. Pleasant Prairie homeowners have reached out with many requests, and we are deeply grateful for the trust they have placed in us to restore their sunken concrete.
We combine proven slab raising methods with the latest modern technology to precisely lift and level concrete slabs. SAVE Concrete is the trusted choice for residential homeowners, commercial properties, and community associations alike.
What goes under the slab is the difference
SAVE Concrete pumps a calibrated Portland cement slurry, mixed and delivered by our own equipment so the mixture is consistent from the first hole to the last. It fills the void completely and cures into a load bearing subgrade under your concrete.
The work costs one half to one third of full concrete replacement, and it is backed by our No Questions Asked 4 year warranty.
78 completed projects in Pleasant Prairie
Not hundreds. Seventy eight. In a village of roughly 22,000 people, that is a great many driveways, front walks and garage floors, and it is a number rather than a boast, which means you can ask us about them.
Across Wisconsin as a whole, SAVE Concrete has completed 266.
In Pleasant Prairie, that work means:
Driveways and driveway aprons
Garage floors, attached and detached
Front walks, service walks and rear walks
Patios, porches and large stoops
Steps and stairs
Pool decks
Sun room and interior floors
Warehouse and factory floors
Commercial walkways
Void filling under seawalls, loading docks, and abandoned ductwork and sewers
Why raising beats replacing
Save time. Most jobs are finished in hours, not days.
Save money. Generally one third to one half the cost of full replacement.
Minimal disruption. Little mess, no extended downtime, and no re landscaping afterwards.
Keep it out of the landfill. Replacement means breaking up your slab and hauling it away. Raising it does not.
With our brutal weather changes by the lake, Pleasant Prairie is very familiar with sinking and settling concrete. We put an end to having to remove and replace concrete that has settled. From your first phone call to your finished job, we are your partner in increasing the value of your home.
Why new construction in Pleasant Prairie sinks first
Pleasant Prairie is one of the fastest growing communities in southeast Wisconsin, with roughly a billion dollars of active housing development in the village and single projects running to hundreds of units. That is good news for the village, and it is worth knowing what it means for your concrete.
Fill under new construction is placed quickly, and it keeps consolidating after everyone has gone home. The ground a builder excavates, backfills and grades in a season does not reach its final density in that season. It reaches it over the following five to ten years, under the weight of whatever was poured on top of it.
That is why the driveway, the front walk and the garage floor of a five year old house often show settlement before anything else on the property does. The house is on footings that reach below the frost line. The flatwork is on the fill.
It is also why the repair is worth doing properly rather than patching. A slab raised back to grade over a filled void is supported again. A slab shimmed at the edge is still bridging the same empty space.

This summer in Pleasant Prairie SAVE Concrete wants you and your loved ones to enjoy a fantastic summer in your own backyard. Prevent unnecessary tripping hazards by calling us for your pool deck leveling.
Causes of pool deck concrete sinking: Concrete pool decks are prone to settling because of the actual pool construction process. The backfill soil that's added around the pool excavation will not be as dense or well-compacted as the undisturbed soil. When a heavy concrete slab is poured around the pool, loose soil will often compress under the slab's weight, which can cause sections of the concrete to sink or settle.
Another potential reason for your pool deck to become tripping disaster is due to the multiple sections that are laid. If a seal hasn't properly been laid or has worn away water will get in and begin erosion under the slabs.
Common questions from Pleasant Prairie homeowners
What size are the holes, and what do they look like when the job is done?
One and three quarter inches across. We drill them through the slab to pump the slurry underneath, then patch them when the lift is finished. They stay visible on close inspection and they weather in over time.
It is a real hole and we would rather give you the number than call it small. The size is what the material needs: a calibrated Portland cement slurry is a mineral mix moving under pump pressure, and it does not travel through a smaller opening.
Why does concrete on a newer Pleasant Prairie property settle before anything else does?
Because the flatwork sits on fill and the house does not. Fill placed during construction keeps consolidating for five to ten years afterwards, while the house rests on footings driven below the frost line.
How long does the job take?
Most residential jobs in Pleasant Prairie are finished in a few hours, and the surface is usually back in use the same day.
Will it sink again?
The calibrated Portland cement slurry cures into a load bearing subgrade rather than staying a soft fill, and the work carries our No Questions Asked 4 year warranty. Sealing the joints afterwards is what stops the water that caused the original washout from starting the process over.
